Granite United Way Volunteer Opportunities

Bike-Walk Alliance of New Hampshire, the state's education and advocacy organization that promotes biking and walking, is expanding its board of directors and committee structure to carry out its strategy to get more people biking and walking and to provide safer biking and walking conditions. Biking and walking are great for public health and the environment (reducing trips by car), but so much needs to be done to make streets and roads safer and to provide more trails. Our board and committee members advocate on the national, state, and local levels, and provide training to cyclists, drivers, and pedestrians. Come join us!

Looking for someone who loves children and families of all backgrounds, can engage and model age-appropriate activities, plan, prepare, and assist children in an activity, is able to read children's books to model reading for parents. This includes preparation of the activities and clean up when the group has ended.

CCCNH is looking for weekly or bi-monthly assistance to help with organizing in-kind and food donations in our confidential shelter. This includes making sure the donation room is easily accessible for donation drop off, ensuring accuracy of donation receipts, and sorting donations into their correct places.

Clean up of brush, grounds , opening of buildings, moving equipment and possible painting at Granite YMCA's Camp Mi-Te-Ma Boys Camp in Alton, NH!

Gear Up for School (GUFS) is seeking volunteers for our Dunk-A-Queen Booth at the Manchester Pride Festival to raise funds that will provide 73,000+ school supplies and 2,500+ backpacks at the start of the next academic year to children in the NH Foster Care Program, multiple school districts, including Manchester, Hooksett, Allenstown, Epsom, and non-profits supporting children across NH.
